John N. Poulos
John leads the family law and real estate / land use teams at Poulos LoPiccolo PC.
Prior to co-founding Poulos LoPiccolo PC, John was an associate with the prestigious Manhattan law firm of Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP. John worked at Hughes Hubbard for nearly 15 years where he was a paralegal, managing attorney’s clerk and then a senior associate for 10 years and played a key role in the unwinding of Lehman Brothers Inc. after Lehman Brothers filed for bankruptcy in September 2008. He currently represents purchasers and sellers as well as banks including First Republic Bank.
John graduated from New York University in 1998 with a B.A. in Political Science. At NYU, he received the CAS merit scholarship. In 2001, he graduated from Brooklyn Law School and was a Richardson Merit Scholar. In *2009 – 2010, he was selected as a Rising Star, Super Lawyer in New Jersey and in 2012, was appointed by the Honorable David F. Bauman a contract arbitrator with the Monmouth County Superior Court.

Yesenia Rodriguez
While at Seton Hall Law School, Yesenia concentrated on family law courses including family law, domestic violence, family mediation and collaborative divorce. Additionally, she worked at the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender, Hudson County, and gained several months of experience in juvenile representation.
After completing law school, she clerked for the Honorable Kathleen A. Sheedy, P.J.F.P and gained valuable experience in all areas of family law, particularly divorce, non-dissolution, child support, child custody, equitable distribution, domestic violence, abuse and neglect, and juvenile matters.
Post-clerkship, Yesenia started her career at Poulos LoPiccolo working on family law matters involving post-judgment issues, such as termination and/or modification of alimony and/or child support and more complicated issues dealing with post-judgment equitable distribution and inheritance. In addition, she has assisted Mr. Poulos in the handling of several divorce matters dealing with equitable distribution, alimony, and child custody.
